I guess it's that time again. The oh so wonderful time where I am reduced to weekend blog postings. I logged into my bloglines to maybe read a few blogs this morning and I guess I have been away longer than I thought. Some people had 4 new posts since I last read them. I decided I would just wait until this weekend to catch up so I am not ignoring you all. I will be back to read all your crafty adventures soon. :)
My day wasn't all too bad today though. Yeah work was insane and I had orientation for school this evening, but I discovered the most wonderful antique shop down the road from my job. I was on the hunt for a pink teacup and although I didn't find one I discovered a million other things I needed.
The store (Sweeten Creek Antiques) was set up with little booths from individual people. It was like peeking into little worlds filled with fascinating vintage artifacts. I had my trusty camera with me and took a couple photos which are the ones shown in this post. I'll take some more next time because I will definitely go back soon. My lunch break wasn't long enough for me to see everything.
In fact, I may just call in sick tomorrow and wander back over. I haven't faked being sick for a day off in two years. I know it's bad but sometimes it just needs to be done. :)
