So here are some of the projects out of this Japanese sewing book.
Most of the bags use the basic tote pattern so I will mostly use this book for inspiration.

New Japanese craft/sewing book

 I know I said the last book was my favorite of this book order but this one is now that I have opened it.
It's filled with the prettiest/cutest bags ever! Here are some of the photos of the projects inside. I will start with the bag I will be making as soon as I possibly can.

I don't know what it is about it but I absolutely love it. I hope I can figure out how to make it. Maybe next weekend....

Japanese Patchwork Book

Ta-daaa. Here is one of my favorite Japanese craft books I got the other day. I don't know what the name of it is but it's filled with patchwork projects. Even a cute little hexagon bag. I can't decide what to make first but I need to figure it out and get started on it so I can open up the next book.

Here are a few photos of some of the projects inside.















Unfortunantely I have to work tomorrow. I guess I can think about what I will make though during the day and then get into it when I get home. I may make those kitchen items on the book cover (first photo) with my Lizzy Dish fabric. It will go along with my Sunday Stash.

Craft Book Bonanza

Soooo...as you can tell I received my Japanese craft books, along with my Weekend Sewing today. I am going to be good though and resist opening the plastic wrappers until after my final for Anatomy & Physiology (which is tomorrow).
I think instead of opening them all at once though I am only going to open one at a time. Once I finish at least one project out of it then I can open a new one.
I notice when I get a huge batch of books I get overwhelmed and can't decide on what to sew first so they all just sit around.

Of course once I open a book, I will post photos from it along with the ISBN in case any of you were contemplating ordering one.

Tiny Patchworks 2 (image heavy)

I'll make the photos small so hopefully it will help. The fabric giveaway is still on so you have the rest of tonight and tomorrow to comment. I just figured since I have time today I would do a post about one of my new Japanese craft books. It's Tiny Patchworks 2 and I love it.

I didn't even notice the 2 on the cover until I got it so I am a little upset that I didn't get the first one. Not that I know what it's about but if I liked this one so much I probably would want it. The next few photos are pictures out of the book. All the projects are on the pattern sheet. They are sized right so you don't have to enlarge but they overlap so you still have to make copies.

I'll also upload some more here tonight. I can't read Japanese but every Japanese craft book I have has pictures of each step for every project. Sometimes they are easier to follow than English craft books.

I am starting to regret getting so many books at one time though. I have a long list of things I want to start on and I can't decide what to do first.
I think I may do the mushroom keychain though this weekend. It's small and was one of the projects that pushed me toward getting this book.

Japanese Craft Book - Country Patchwork

Here are some images out of a book from my first order on Amazon.co.jp.

I had no idea what the name of this book is but that it is from the Heart Warming Life Series and has the most cutest patchwork projects ever. I am not really a fan of the whole country theme. I like bright colors and pink.  :) It's mainly the ideas though that I love and am assured the projects will turn out just as good with vibrant patterns.

If you have seen this before you are not losing your mind. I imported this from my old blog because I love my Japanese craft books and want the entries about them in my new home.
