Acreage Blog Tour
I am so excited to be party of the Acreage Blog Tour!
Shannon designed such a beautiful collection it's perfect for the end of summer.
I decided to do a quilt like I always do (and like always it's not quilted/complete)
I used half a jelly roll of Acreage and half a jelly roll of Jen Kingwell's Behind the Scenes fabric.
So basically one jelly roll to make this plus the sashing which was hard to choose. I ended up using essex metallic because colored sashing detracted from Acreage and white and gray were just not looking right.
All in all I'm pretty pleased with it. Definitely colorful and bold.
Emma is taking it anyway. She wanted it the minute I got that jelly roll and she saw the bike print.

Moda be my Neighbor Block 3/16
Sorry this is a little later in the day. To be honest I didn't really like this block. :(
I dislike applique and didn't even bother with the bird. The applique bird is on a few of the future blocks too so I hope my quilt won't look lame without it.
I don't have an individual picture of mine I forgot to take one before I attached it to the row.
Next week will be the 4th block and our top row will be done!

Block 2 is up!
I am not a fan of pinwheels but forced my way through it. I really am enjoying Grand Canal by Kate Spain and her Latitude Batiks.

I'm an ADORNit Ambassador!!
I'm so excited to announce for the next 3 months I'll be an ambassador for ADORNit!
I am waiting for my box of supplies and will have so many fun projects to share.
I'll be posting here and on Instagram @avintagefairytale
I may try a YouTube video or two but I don't know...that may be pushing it for me.... =P
Anyway if you haven't heard of this company go check it out. If you're crafty at all you'll find something that will interest you. They have clothing, scrapbook supplies, coloring, art, DIY, and FABRIC!
