September 16th is National Sew a Jelly Roll Day!
You can find more information here but I'll have a post of a pile of free jelly roll patterns here on the 16th.
So many people don't know what to do with their jelly rolls and just collect them. This will help you bust into one.
It's my favorite precut and I am excited for an excuse to use one of my hoarded ones.

No Drama Llama
I've been making some zip pouches lately with the holiday only a few months away and some other events.
This one was too cute I love that little sparkly llama.
I lined it with some pink damask fabric that I can't remember what line it's from and added a cute little tassel.
I backed it with this pretty floral another print I can't remember what line it's from.
(Hey I'm using my stash at least)
I'm going to be making a bunch of these and debating making some pieces of fabric with just the little iron on already adhered to sell on Etsy. People can make their own pouches, bags, pillows, or whatever with them. :)
I've been obsessed with heat transfer vinyl so be prepared for a lot of posts featuring that coming up.

Menagerie
I got some cute fabric from Fat Quarter Shop yesterday!!
Menagerie is amazing in real life. Above is a canvas print I'll be making a bag from and I also got a 10inch square pack and 2.5inch strips. The precuts are hard to find in Cotton & Steel I've come to find out but luckily can always count on FQS to carry them. :)

I'm working really hard on de-stashing and clearing out fabric from when I had a quilt shop and hopefully once the clutter is gone I'll be able to have some sew-jo again.
I'm already looking for a good pattern for these though!

Cutest Buttons EVER (and other things)
Wow I didn't mean to be gone for so long. Unfortunately this year has not been going that well and to be honest I haven't sewn one thing since my last post. I am hoping things are settling down and I'm able to get back into blogging. I have shut down my fabric shop though for numerous reasons so I'm going to refocus my blog and creating. Hopefully, I'll have some more time now to do some of the things I enjoy.
Anyway, I'll be removing shop links on here and doing some other re-designing too so I apologize if things look weird from time to time. :)
Any new books or sew a longs happening right now I am missing out on??
I have bought some new fabric the past week I can't wait to share!

Liberty Love
My Liberty of London fabric collection is growing!
I thought I'd do a post of a few places I love getting Liberty from since I get a lot of questions about that when I post photos.
The first place is Duckadilly.
She has a wonderful selection and the latest and greatest prints. Plus Liberty strips!
I also buy my Liberty from Etsy.
You can find Japanese shops that sell Hello Kitty Liberty prints here. I wish these were more available in US shops.
These are the only Hello Kitty Liberty prints I own right now they are sooo cute!
There are also a few shops that do Liberty clubs. I was in Westwood Acres Liberty Club last year and I loved getting the little bits of Liberty every month. Just make sure you always have your monthly fee in your account as they aren't very consistent as to what date to charge your card each month.
If you have a favorite Liberty shop please leave me a comment or send me an email. I'm always looking for some of the special novelty prints since I have plenty of floral ones.

It's really nice fabric to work with just make sure and have a new sharp needle as it's very thin material. :)
Hopefully I'll be ready to tackle a Liberty quilt soon.
